- Shredded paper, if you have a shredder then when you shred the paper keep this, it makes great internal packaging.
- Toilet roll holders, save them ideal for packing breakables
- Egg cartons another great filer
- Save boxes of all sorts. shoe boxes especially are great for packing things in
- Old wallpaper, nice and thick and duarble. Makes great substitute for brown paper even patterned paper just turn it the other way. I often use lining paper, much cheaper per roll than brown paper and goes a lot further.
- Old catalogues, you can scrunch these up to make great filling for things that need padding or if you have a shredder shred the pages.
- Magazines and newspapers are also great for filling.
