Did you know if you do not file a tax return you get fined a hundred pounds
I haven't completed a tax return in 5 years. Every year I get a fine of £100 which is far less than I would have paid if I did complete a tax return. I declare nothing, so they have nothing to take me to court for. I pay the £100 as it is less than i would pay tax and it keeps them away. So far 5 years on they have never chased me for a penny other than the fine.
I am not advocating you do it, the choice is yours I am merely telling you what I do.
