How to stop bailiffs from coming to your door

My friend recently had bailiffs knocking on her door, so I told them it was me that was living there, that I had her name and address but couldn't give it as that would be a breach of GDPR.

This is the step by step procedure that I did to remove them

If bailiffs are knocking at your door and you haven’t engaged with them, follow these steps to address the situation:

  1. Set up a fake email in another name
  2. Identify the Bailiffs’ Employer
Determine which company or organization the bailiffs knocking at your door are representing.
  3. Contact the Original Creditor
Reach out to the creditor or company that initiated the debt collection process, email is the best way, otherwise write to them.
  4. Inform the Creditor that the person they are looking for no longer lives there
Explain that the person they are seeking no longer lives at your address and that bailiffs are mistakenly contacting you about this debt.
  5. Send an Email Using a Different Name
When communicating with the creditor, use a different name than your own in the email to maintain distance from the situation.
  6. Be Prepared for Redirection
The creditor may ask you to contact a different department. Tell them no, you do not wish to engage with them as you have no account with them, should you chose to open an account you will let them know.
  7. State Your Non-Involvement
Clearly inform the creditor that you have no contract or connection with their company and do not wish to engage with them.
  8. Mention GDPR to Avoid Sharing Information
If asked about the person they’re looking for, state that you know their whereabouts but cannot disclose details due to data protection regulations (GDPR).
  9. Keep Communication in Writing
Insist on communicating via email to create a documented paper trail, which could be useful if legal action becomes necessary.

By following these steps, you can address the issue calmly and maintain a record of all correspondence for your protection.

I am willing to do this on your behalf, there is a nominal cost of just £10 just email me at bailiffremoval@top-bannana.com to procede
