For the past week my little girl has been fighting a really nasty chesty cough and was unable to sleep because of this. Last night in desperation after having tried everything, I stumbled across this concoction and it helped relieve the cough to enable a good nights sleep.

The recipe

  • Lemon Juice
  • Honey
  • Hot water
  • Pinch of tumeric
  • two slices of ginger
    • Put all the ingredients in a cup and pour on hot boiling water, leave to stand for about 5 minutes, and administer with a spoon as if giving medicine.

    I found 4-5 teaspoons is enough to work.
