Is climate change real? Look around you, climate changes daily, sometimes hourly. How can they honestly say that because a temperature in specfic places has increased or decreased that the earths temperature is warming or cooling. You could take the temp outside my door 10 times a day and you would get a different reading. I'm not sure what that would prove other than the temperature changes and this we already knew about. Here in the UK we have had some glorious summers in the past and some cold winters. It is called seasons. Sadly the media take any disaster that happens on the days when there may be some extremes and use that as proof of something they cannot prove exists. Ie on 19th July in the UK we had a hot day. Every single day in the UK the fire brigade attend to on average 500 fires per day. It would take nothing to find a couple of fires that day, there are always fires. Then use those fires to blame climate change. Sadly a quick look at the facts and it reveals the cause was not climate change but human interaction. Yes dry weather will help the spread of a fire, but it did not cause it. Fires do not happen on their own. Someone said what if a bottle of beer was left out and the reflection of the sun caused the fire, well for one that could happen even in much cooler weather, secondly beer bottles are human invention, so not caused by nature but by humans. Any warm dry weather will help the spread of fire even far less temperatures will do that. If trees and or grass could spontaneously combust at 40 degrees, why doesn't it happen in hot countries. I lived in hot country where often temps would reach 48 degrees and never once saw a tree burst into flames. Look at the burning temp of wood. I was also told hot countries have better housing. Well in the country I lived in many of the houses were nothing more than wooden single skin shacks. I'd take our brick built houses over them any day. I still never saw a single house over there catch on fire purely from the heat. You are being lied to. Hot weather doesn't cause fires, humans cause fires. Remove the firestarters and you won't have an issue with fires in hot or cold weather. However I do believe we as humans waste far too much, fill our beautiful oceans with crap, fill our fresh air with toxic fumes because so many are lazy and won't walk the couple of hundred yards they need to. I do know one chap (that needs to walk) will drive 400 yards to get his morning paper every day. This needs to stop. People are getting lazier and lazier and do not care about their environment. Climate changes there is no denying but people do need to be more responsible.
