How to stop going on social media, ie facebook, twitter etc
Do you find yourself on social media too much and want to quit but keep getting drawn in?Firstly realise that is exactly what they want you to do. A whole business model is made on the fear of missing out. When most of the time you probably don't even remember what you saw on there, so you have missed nothing.
Anyway what I did was get an old phone that I don't use, then change the password on all my social media apps and set it so that it doesn't update the apps. Put the password on a notes program or similar on that phone so you have it saved, then switch off the phone and only go on social media on that phone. Remove all apps from other devices.
Then hide the phone so you are not tempted to use it. If you can remove the battery.
As humans we go for the path of least resistance and the more obstacles we put in our way the more likely we will refrain from doing so. Go on do it now, you are not missing out on anything. Go and enjoy your life instead of posting about it.
