Does eating eggs increase your risk of diabetesAccording to the daily mail, eating just one egg a day will increase your likely hood of getting diabetes?
What a crock
If that was remotely true there would be a epidemic of elderly people with chronic diabetes, as most mature people were brought up on eggs. Honestly these people will do anything to get people to stop eating eggs, when in reality they are the powerhouse of food.
It is the carb laden crap foods that contribute to diabetes not naturally produced food.
How can a food which consists of protein, fat, & zero carbs increase the risk of diabetes? Are people dunking the eggs in sugar? Is this study based on people mixing the eggs into doughnut batter and deep-frying that in seed oils?
Eggs are wonderful, the only complete protein. Our grandparents ate eggs all the time & were a lot healthier than we are today. I grew up eating eggs & still eat one pretty much every morning with berries on the side. I do not have diabetes.
